The dollar rack out the front had me hook, line and sinker. Once inside the opshop door I knew I’d struck vintage gold. From an extensive bag collection, a Cacharel floral blouse for $4, overalls for $5, bric a brac galore, watches for $4 and cat mugs for 50 cents, the Red Hill Opshop had it all.
Not to mention the lovely ladies behind the counter, Kathy and Helen! Collectively they’ve been volunteering there for 23 years, raising funds for the Peninsula Home Hospice at Frankston.
“It’s a very worthwhile cause. The shop’s raised over six hundred thousand dollars since the opshop opened 31 years ago,” Helen said.
With constant donations of fresh stock and a price range that won’t hurt your hip pocket (womens tops $4-5, shorts and skirts $4, jumpers and cardigans $5) you’d be cray cray not to pop in!
