MAKE YOUR HANDBAG THE HERO

We’ve all been there…staring at the wardrobe and not knowing what to wear. Sometimes the key to finding inspiration is picking a hero piece and going from there.

I either like to work from the ground up letting my footwear set the pace, or if I’m really ‘clutching’ at straws I’ll pick out a statement handbag and then create a complementary canvas.

Opshops are full of eclectic stand out pieces like this MARCS shopper, which is the perfect hero handbag…it’s larger than life, sports a bold print, comes complete with a tassel keyring and would you believe it only set me back a fiver at Yesterdays Thrift Rosalie?!

In keeping with its nautical style I’ve paired it with neutral hues of white and light denim so that the bag really has its hay day!
