You need to set aside 1-2 hours for this Lifeline…they don’t call it a Supa Store for nothing! They get a couple of truck deliveries a week, plus plenty of donations coming through the doors each day.

The shop is well laid out with furniture on the left, clothing on the right, kids clothing and a huge range of toys up the back and all crockery colour coded…an OCD’s dream!

With a variety of kids bikes, a family of Elmo dolls, a set of safari stools, a leather throne and a vintage Singer sewing machine complete with a customised desk, there’s pretty much something for everyone!

I snapped up a floral dress for $5, a Bardot top for $9, a French Connection tee for $5 and a black and white bubble skirt for $5 (in the feature image) while I was there and left feeling pretty high on life.

Price range:

You can fork out as little as 5 cents on a purchase up to a few hundred dollars.

Tops, Skirts and Shorts $5-10
Dresses $5 (excluding formal frocks)
Kids shoes $1-3

Kim Ingram has volunteered for the last 15 months with Lifeline. She had a part time job, got sick of it and gave it away and walked into her nearest Lifeline and the rest is history.

“I’d much rather do this. It’s more interesting, everybody’s lovely, I don’t get bored, it’s different every day. I just love meeting and helping people,” she said.

She loves to op shop but doesn’t get much time for retail therapy because she’s too busy dishing out the bargains!
