This thrift shop has so many rooms you could actually get lost! It was converted from a house so there’s eight to rummage through, including a bargain room where everything is $2 and on Sundays you can fill a bag of garments for $5. I’m still over the moon about these MLM label culottes I found hiding in there!

If that doesn’t get your salivating, labels like ASOS, Wayne Cooper, MLM, Cue, Top Shop, Sheike and sass and bide might do the trick! There’s also plenty of statement necklaces and fancy footwear for sale, so if you’ve got a hectic social schedule and need a ‘new’ ensemble, they’ve got you covered from head to toe.

Most pieces retail around the $7 – $9 mark which isn’t bad when you realise your retail therapy is also providing development and brain injury support for children and adults.

Nell is super passionate about the cause and has been volunteering four days a week at the store since 1989. That’s not the only reason she’s been helping out for almost 30 years though…

“I don’t like housework, see. That’s how I get out of it.”

The shop is open seven days and has all the mod cons, including a car park out the back, Eftpos and air conditioning, so next time you’re in Rosalie treat yourself!
