When people say ‘Melbourne’ I think shopping. It’s a bit of a retail mecca for me, especially with six Savers stores to choose from! This time I went further afield on my thrift bender…all the way down to the Mornington Peninsular and the Camberwell Markets on Sunday where clothes started from 50 cents!
$72 later…here are some of the purchases I managed to get back to Brisbane without paying excess baggage…
Blue and white floral button up skirt $2.50 – Vinnies Hastings
White crochet singlet $2.99 – Savers Brunswick
Lilac button up dress with belt $9.25 – Salvos Rosebud
Navy and purple daisy dress $4.50 – Family Life Op Shop Frankston
Black dress with hand stitched lace collar $5.50 – RSPCA Franskton
Pink daisy blouse $3.99 – Savers Brunswick
Lilac lace blouse $7.25 – Salvos Rosebud
Green and black polka dot blouse $1 – St Mark’s Anglican Thrift store Balnarring
Salvatore Ferragamo slides $19.99 – Savers Brunswick
Black A-line skirt $6 – Vinnies Hastings
Pink woven tee (made in Barcelona) $5 – Camberwell Markets
Cacharel floral tee $4 – Red Hill Op Shop
Perfect timing – I’m going in two weeks!! Thanks Hannah!
Going to be there in June, I will definitely be using this list! Thanks!
Given that we are heading to the mornington peninsula for 3 months later this year I am very excited!! I’ve popped across from you lovely interview with Helen and am planning on spending plenty of strapped-to-the-couch-breastfeeding time lurking here – thanks!!
