On my travels to the Mornington Peninsula I stumbled across a Salvos full of amazing vintage pieces on the main drag in Rosebud.
From a cabinet of vintage purses and clutches in mint condition between $5-$20, vintage pumps, to a great selection of baggage including a tapestry overnighter, a 50s suitcase, a vintage doctors bag and an old trunk all the way from Italy!
Obviously I love lilac…I picked up a sheer pleated dress for $9.25 and a pastel lace blouse for $8.50, but I held back on the purple floral dress even though it was only $8.25! Got the self control of a saint! Almost snapped up a thug chain for $2.25 but I already have about 8 so I left it there for some other gangsta to discover.
They had plenty of trinkets too. My favourite picks were the brandy set for $9.25 and the old wooden sailing ship.
